Management of Systems for Asynchronous Tele-education (istos.sch.gr)

C.T.I.'s Networking Technologies Sector has undertaken the project "Asynchronous Tele-education (istos.sch.gr) System Management" in the frames of sub-project 3-action "Development of an educational gate for the first degree and secondary education" O.P I.S, 1.2 Meter. This project constitutes of five actions that should be accomplished for the technical support of Asynchronous Tele-education (istos.sch.gr) Platform of the Pedagogic Institute as of an "Educational Gate" and as a platform which provides asynchronous education.

Analytically these actions are:

• Action 1: Dimensioning Study/Capacity Plan of istos.sch.gr platform.
• Action 2: Installation of a Backup Mechanism for the application's database.
• Action 3: System Management
• Action 4: Development and monitoring of an operation system for the educational web application
• Action 5: Intermediary Software Upgrading
