Construction

 

 

The new building consists of 3 Wings, the left (Wing Ι), the central (Wing ΙΙ) and the right (Wing ΙΙΙ). Overall and by height, it is composed of level A which houses the computer installations , storage rooms, gym room and sanitary rooms (W.C., lockers, showers) and levels 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, each housing office spaces, conference rooms, labs, coffee rooms and sanitary rooms (W.C.). There are 2 stairwells right and left of Wing ΙΙ meaning in Wing ΙΙΙ and Wing Ι respectively. There are also 2 elevators at the building entrance (in Wing ΙΙ) that provide access from level A up to the 4^th and a freight elevator at the stairwell of Wing ΙΙΙ thet provides access from level A up to the 3^rd. At level 2 there is the Amphitheater and the building central cafeteria. At level A there is the Computer Center for the cerver installations. The building is divided in two access zones, has access control by magnetic cards and is videotaped. The building's perimeter, as well as sensitive computer installation rooms and rooms that effect the building's security, has camera monitoring at the glazing's perimeter and motion and fracture sensors at the glazings that are activated depending on the building's security conditions.
