C.T.I.'s new building "D.Maritas" is located in the university of Patras, above the University Hospital of Rio, near the bridge of the river Selemnos. According to Greek Mythology a shepherd, Selemnos, with his beauty and stoutness was able to seduce the nymph Argiri. They lived together for years, but when his beauty abandoned him and old age overcame him, the eternally young and beautiful Nymph abandoned him. Selemnos died from his sorrow. Aphrodite, touched by his love's drama, transformed him into a river. Selemnos however was still sad and suffering by his passion. The goddess then intervened again and gave him the gift of oblivion. Since then, all the young people that bathed in Selemnos' waters forgot their love troubles.
