The Computer Technology Institute and Press “DIOPHANTUS” marks this year 40 years since its foundation and celebrates it with regular tributes and photographs from the history of the Organization on social media.

At the same time, a relevant anniversary event is being organized that will take place next October at the headquarters of CTI in Patras with important speakers from the field of education, as well as the administration of the Organization.
CTI is the technological pillar supporting ICT in education and as the publishing body of Greek school textbooks and electronic educational material.
CTI is also responsible for the administration of the Greek School Network, the largest user network in Greece.
Important persons have served as Directors / Presidents of CTI, such as
the late Professor Theodoros Papatheodorou (1985 – 1990)
the late Professor Dimitrios Maritsas (1990 – 1996)
Professor Paul Spyrakis (1996 – 2013)
Professor Christos Kaklamanis as Presiding Vice President (2013 – 2016) and as President (2016 – 2021)
as well as the current President, Professor Dimitrios Serpanos (2021 to date)
