Voucher.gov.gr is a mature information system that supports actions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and its supervised entities, through which high quality electronic services are provided to citizens, businesses and the supervising Public Authorities, which relate to the management of the life cycle of vocational training.

The VOUCHER system consists of individual specialized sub-systems, which in each training intervention are appropriately configured to support the task-specific workflow and data management. In addition, the system exchanges online data with other public information systems minimizing the exchange of documents and paperwork.

The involved Public Authorities can, through the system, monitor in real time and fully supervise the procedures provided for the training programs, greatly reducing the administrative costs, as well as the completion times of the implementation, monitoring and control procedures of the programs.

The open design of the system combined with the experience accumulated from its operation, contributes to:

• To strengthen the capabilities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and its supervised entities in the exercise of their policies,
• In providing better quality e-government services to citizens and businesses, as well as
• To reduce the cost of managing professional training invitations.
