iLearning-eCreativity-eDiversity (iLCD)

During the pandemic the whole educational community –teachers, pupils, and parents- acquired knowledge, ICT skills, and experience on Distance Education in a very short time. As the educational community is exiting this phase, a demand which is put forward by many is how can all this acquired knowledge, skills and experience be put into use in the post Covid-19 era. More specifically, to increase the quality of their curricula and take advantage of the potentials of Distance Education to increase their capacity to operate jointly at transnational level for promoting collaboration, peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level.

The iLearning-eCreativity-eDiversity (iLCD) project is a collaborative creativity program involving educators and schools. The aim of the project was to train primary education teachers in five schools across Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Bulgaria, and Germany in the “”Advanced Pedagogy Framework for iLearning-eCreativity-eDiversity in K12 Education”” (APF) methodology developed by the eLearning Lab of the University of Crete, so they could integrate and utilize this framework in their classrooms during the school year 2022-23.

As part of the project, the Digital Educational Platform “”e-me”” (European version, for all, https://e-me4all.eu/) provided by CTI was expanded and customized into the languages of the project partners and utilized in the participating schools in the five European countries. The Intelligent e-Learning & Social Environment (IeLSE) was used for the online training of educators. Additionally, an Interactive Virtual Reality Exhibition (IVRE) was developed to allow educators and students to present their deliverables.
