GREEK SCHOOL NETWORK

The Greek School Network (GSN) is the national network of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, which electronically securely connects primary and secondary school units, including foreign educational units, lifelong learning service providers, services and the supervised bodies of the Ministry of Education at central and regional level, students, education officials and teachers. GSN has more than 1,650,000 members, making it the largest public network in the country in terms of number of users.

Through the GSN, the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports provides the educational community advanced e-learning, communication and collaboration services, e-government services, as well as user support and assistance services.

Some of the main services offered by GSN include:

  • Internet and Email: Provides secure and reliable internet access and email accounts for schools, teachers and students.
  • Electronic Classes (e-class): E-learning services that allow teachers to create and manage online classes.
  • Educational Software and Applications: Offers a wealth of educational tools and applications to support teaching and learning.
  • School Units Management Systems: Tools for the organization and management of schools and their students.
  • Technical Support: Provides support for technical issues and questions that arise when using the GSN services.

The aim of the GSN is to improve the educational process and enhance the skills of students and teachers in technology by offering modern tools and services.
