EVRYTHMON

The project aims to:
a) Support the supply cycle of school books with personnel and equipment to ensure timely production, packaging, and distribution of books to schools.
b) Fully upgrade its operation through the study and implementation of new policies and standardized workflows, the introduction of new technological automations, the expansion of existing and development of new information systems to manage critical operational data, and the organized presentation/promotion of the supply cycle outcomes.

The supply cycle is entering a new operational phase in which:
a) Many of the existing control processes will need to be revised or reorganized (e.g., multiple checkpoints to ensure timely identification of errors and omissions, human backups, etc.).
b) New algorithms and processes need to be developed, customized, automated, and integrated into the Publications Directorate’s quality management system (e.g., automatic calculation of print run quantities, monitoring of packaging schedules, settlement of distribution contracts, electronic payments for orders by private bookstores, etc.).
c) The continuously changing market conditions (both domestic and international) necessitate new procurement policies (e.g., for paper) and service provision (e.g., staff outsourcing, proprietary production infrastructure), leading to new workflows.
d) It is deemed essential to upgrade the paper warehouse operation by installing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and connecting it to the central ERP.
e) A new, more advanced mechanism (involving personnel and information systems) will be required for comprehensive and unified management of pre-print materials.
f) Overall, the supply cycle’s operational results should be presented to the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, schools, and the wider public (e.g., by creating promotional material, organizing visits/tours for Ministry officials and schools to our warehouse, holding informational events in cooperation with associations for visually impaired children, creating a network of excellence among schools with top performance in the school recycling program, etc.).
