Knowledge, skills & competencies, health, inherent or acquired characteristics of an individual, constitute the foundations of “human capital” and significantly influence the productivity of individuals as well as of society as a whole. Investing in human capital is directly related to higher public and private outcomes and improvements with respect to social efficiency. Recently, the study of educational policies that could capitalize on human capital and yield social and financial benefits has been in the core interest of fields like Finance and Psychology. Educational systems, especially in early stages (preschool education), have been shown to have major impact on human capital investment and future productivity. Among the main goals of a successful educational environment is the proper preparation of individuals having different characteristics, skills and competencies, for future employment opportunities, minimizing risks and uncertainty while maximizing potential productivity gains.
The proposed action aims at a) developing a thematic conceptual framework as well as b) a central IT infrastructure utilizing advanced data processing and AI techniques, in order to facilitate career training initiatives and in-class activities in Greek K12 education.
