The project aims at:
a) the technological and operational upgrade of current IT services of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. These are the following systems and applications:
a1) School labs
a2) Central payroll through “DIAS” system
a3) Integrated Information System of DIPODE
a4) Integrated Information System for the Management and Monitoring of physical and financial data for the needs of direct labour of co-financed Projects
a5) Information system OPSYD
a6) Information system myschool
a7) Information systems responsible for Payments and Expenditures of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports
a8) Security audits of the central IT infrastructure of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports
a9) Digital repositories “Photodendro” and related systems and services for the Digital Educational Content
a10) Digital Education Platform “e-me”
a11) Digital School Book Library
a12) Electronic Lottery System for Admission to Model, Experimental, Ecclesiastical, and Public Onassis Schools.
b) the deployment of security audits for central IT infrastructures of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports,
c) the procurement of the necessary software for the needs of implementing the Project.

The above information systems and applications have continuously supported both the educational community and the Head Office of MINEDU for the past few years. Additionally, conducting security checks on the Ministry’s central computer systems and online applications will help identify vulnerabilities, preventing them from being exploited by malicious software or users, while also ensuring their smooth operation.

Overall, the project provides MINEDU with a comprehensive support framework on scientific and technological issues, with a focus on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the field of education, for the benefit of the Ministry’s services and structures.
