ETWIN-24-NSO-GREECE

The Hellenic eTwinning 2024-2026 project aims to promote collaboration and the integration of technology in teaching and learning through various old and new initiatives and tasks such as online courses, webinars, seminars, and conferences for professional development opportunities for teachers and discusses the use of AI and Machine Learning and their potential applications in education and in collaborative projects.
The proposal, as during the previous years, strongly supports the development of STEM education and offers awards for schools that demonstrate excellence in their eTwinning projects. The proposal collaborates with the Hellenic National Agency for Erasmus+ to offer special category prizes for STEM, annual theme, and Erasmus+.
The proposal also plans to establish the eTwinning ambassadors’ body and continue the Skills Labs initiative to integrate eTwinning into the curriculum.
The success of the European School Education Platform depends on offering professional development opportunities for practitioners, supporting networking, and embedding eTwinning and other professional development activities into national education systems.
The HNSO proposal can address the priorities of Erasmus+ by using innovative and digital tools for teaching and learning, providing equal opportunities for participation, promoting cross-cultural dialogue and learning, and integrating eTwinning approaches into Initial Teacher Education programs. Blended mobility can be used to promote virtual and physical mobility for students and teachers to engage in collaborative projects, cultural exchange, and professional development. Overall, HNSO proposal can contribute to the development of a more inclusive, innovative, and high-quality National and European education system.
