To fulfill its objectives and responsibilities, CTI is structured into Divisions, a Research Unit, and Independent Offices. The President of CTI oversees and coordinates their operations, guided by the principles and decisions established by the Board of Directors.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND NETWORKS DIVISION
The Division’s responsibilities include the following:
- Operation of Data Centers and management of physical and electronic access.
- Support for central information systems, electronic infrastructures, and user equipment.
- Supervision of building electromechanical infrastructures, voice and data networks, and building access control systems.
- Development and management of nationwide networks, network infrastructures, services, telematics services, and physical IT and communication infrastructures.

The Division’s responsibilities include the following:
- Development, operation, and support of e-Government services and information systems across all educational levels.
- Design, development, operation, and support of large-scale central information systems to assist in the administrative functions of public and private organizations.
- Operation of the CTI Cybersecurity Operations Center, managing cybersecurity incidents and ensuring incident response.

RESEARCH UNIT
The Research Unit conducts both basic and applied research in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in alignment with the responsibilities and objectives of CTI. It also explores the social, economic, and other impacts of digital technology, with the goal of fostering innovation and promoting digital transformation in education and other sectors of society. The Research Unit is overseen by the President of CTI, to whom it is administratively accountable. The President coordinates its activities and may establish research teams for the execution of specific research or technological projects, which may include participants from outside CTI’s staff.
