Design, Implementation and Administration of the University of Patras Campus Network (University of Patras, Research Academic Computer Technology Institute). The main purposes have been:

• The improvement of telecommunication and network infrastructure of the campus
• The development of telecommunication, network and telematics services for the needs of the University community
• The high-speed connection with national and international networks
• The organizational structures for Network Administration and Maintenance (Network Operation Center and Help-desk)
• The use of multimedia services for the purposes of research and education
• The communication with other national and international research centers for information interchange
